Latest vaccine information for Sunderland:
Everyone over the age of 45 who hasn’t had the vaccine PLEASE either contact your GP / the call centre or reply to your text invitation. Those of you 9 weeks or more since your 1st vaccine, please reply to your text or call your surgery or call centre for your 2nd vaccine ... we are now allowed to book you into any of the 6 hubs in sunderland now. There are plenty Astra Zeneca and Pfizer clinics available

Mobile testing units availability:

SunderlandSilksworth Overflow car park, Silksworth Lane, Sunderland, SR3 1AFTesting is available by appointment only.
Houghton le SpringBrinkburn Crescent Car Park, Houghton le Spring DH4 5HDTesting is available every day including weekends until further notice, by appointment only.

Local Testing Sites (Commercial Road and Johnson Street) and Mobile Testing Units (Brinkburn Houghton and Silksworth Overflow) are to be used by members of the public with symptoms only.
All tests can be booked from the GOV.UK website.

Since the lockdown restrictions have been lifted I'd say pub wise Chaplin's the Ship Isis and the Ivy House have been the best organised.

That map says Sunderland, but looks like it points to Middlesbrough. Have they made a mistake on the map, or have they made a mistake on the list and it's meant to be Stockton?
 
Yes the Zoe App tends to run ahead of the government data, for the last week it showed a very large increase in infections n Sunderland, which are showing up in the official figures. The good news is that the App is showing that the increase appears to have stopped, so come Monday the government numbers for Sunderland should start to level off and start to fall again.

Apparently a customer tested positive for covid who had been in Streetbar on Sunday evening.
Track and Trace got in touch with a friend of mine who was in the same pub that evening.
