This is how it should work though. Identify positive cases and contacts and get them to isolate.

Seen people moaning on facebook their kids are at home but they'd be as quick to moan about the schools being shut again.

We’ve been ringing and texting and ringing again and have lots to catch but hardly having any response.

We’re already turning vaccines away as we can’t fill the clinics and as they’re PFIZER we cant keep what we don’t use.

Again that’s anyone thats 9 weeks since their first vaccine can have their 2nd one!

Please book in.

There’s plenty ASTRA ZENECA so we’re not too pushy about that one 👍👍

If you have had a change of circumstance and you aren’t able to get out and about contact your GP to arrange the nurses to visit! 👍

Message for anyone who had their first vaccination 9-12 weeks ago: If you or anyone you know, over 50, has NOT yet had the Covid vaccine, please contact your GP as soon as to get booked in. We’ve had to cancel numerous clinics as we simply cannot fill them due to being unable to contact people.... maybe we have old numbers in records or some may have even moved house and not thought to update your GP surgery for instance. Please call us to update your contact details and we’ll book you in👍. Also anyone in the risk groups aged 16+ not yet vaccinated give us a call too! Those due 2nds .... “9-12 weeks since your first one” either ring us or the call centre 0191 5128275 to get booked in also 👍. We’ve vaccinated over 120,000 people in Sunderland so far🙌 but the success of this whole operation lies with you guys keeping us updated with your contact details and of course coming to get jabbed!!!

I'm going to have a wander into town at lunchtime, just live round the corner - just seeing a few more people out and about will be a mood booster for me personally
 
Latest vaccine information for Sunderland:
Everyone over the age of 45 who hasn’t had the vaccine PLEASE either contact your GP / the call centre or reply to your text invitation. Those of you 9 weeks or more since your 1st vaccine, please reply to your text or call your surgery or call centre for your 2nd vaccine ... we are now allowed to book you into any of the 6 hubs in sunderland now. There are plenty Astra Zeneca and Pfizer clinics available
