Shane Warne RIP

This isn't meant to be flippant but this feels as surreal as the day Steve Irwin died out of nowhere. RIP Shane the best bowler I've ever seen, or anyone else has ever seen

Bloke was a prick - obviously didn't deserve to die but was no real conservationist at all.

This has hit me harder than any other legendary sportsman passing away, that I can remember.

He always looked and sounded in great health, it really is a case of when your times up.

Warney is one of those sportsman that everyone loves no matter what team you support, a bit like how the Aussies loved Botham even tho he played for their main rivals.

Genuinely in complete shock still.

That ball - a truly world stopping moment
The poster boy of the greatest cricketing side of all time
Undoubtedly the greatest spinner of all time
And he got to shag Liz Hurley for a while

RIP Warney - I hated you for most of your career but I would have loved you to have been English

Absolutely gutted..
Not afraid to say i loved the bloke personality, charisma, character in abundance..
Just an absolute legend !!
Warney, Warney was the craic when he was bowling..
RIP Mate & god bless & sympathy to your family.
So sad & too young 😭
Seriously?

RIP - greatest bowler I can recall by a distance
This :cool::cool:

Ah no
Brilliant cricketer
You hated him when he was bowling against your team but at the same time you couldn’t help but admire how devastating he was
The sign of a real star that.
I know nothing about cricket. I do however know he was about as good as they get as most of my colleagues are Aussie cricket fanatics.
RIP Fella. Same age as me, just a bairn.

For me there are two great sports in England, summer cricket and winter football. Each sport has had a best ever contender in my lifetime, Maradona in football and Shane Warne in cricket. To me they are equal, Shane Warne is as much a genius and legend as Maradona or Pele

RIP

I've been fortunate in my lifetime to watch through the gogglebix arguably the two best ever players of our two greatest sports, football and cricket. Diego Maradona is the greatest star of football and Shane Warne was on the same level, if not better.

The two Kings. Diego Maradona and Shane Warne.

RIP
