Season Ticket Tracker

Hopefully reopen the Premier Concourse.
Yeah, that's going to be a tricky decision - if it was mine to make, I'd probably wait and see what ST sales look like over the next month. If we sell another 5K season cards we'd struggle to fit in a decent number of matchday sales in the lower tier, so it would make sense then to open the PC to season card sales. As we know, the problem then is the need to offer it to previous PC season card holders initially, and at least hold their seats from sale for a period of time. And the next problem would be if we sell a few season cards up there but not enough to justify the additional costs in stewarding, cleaning, bar staff etc.

Were those who had season cards up there promised their specific seat would be held for them if it was reopened, or just a promise that they'd get first dibs on a season card up there? Anyone know how many people we're talking about?

If there was a way to open up just a part of it, and keep everyone happy, that would be one option perhaps. What is likely to annoy those who had season cards up there would be if they don't get the option to move back up, but it's opened to matchday sales on a regular basis instead.

But overall, you would think that with the club on a positive trajectory and playing Championship football, there is little justification for keeping it closed much longer.

"SD confirmed that the long-term plan is to reopen the Premier Concourse.
"Decisions will be made when attendances are regularly 35,000. Staff and their guests are currently positioned in the Premier Concourse to make ticketing logistically easier, to limit the number of stewards required and to easily facilitate staff benefits.
"When the Premier concourse does officially reopen, fans who previously had season tickets in that area will be invited to return to their seats."

I was up there but im not bothered about going back up now

If this link is right - - then we are already going to get the highest divisional average probably by a country mile.

Imagine how many they could sell if they tried to sell them
I don’t know how much it relies on there being nothing else left for general sale?

At Wolves, STHs get half of their seat price back as “ticket cash” which they can use against next year’s ST. Given Molineux is sold out most matches, it’s a relatively safe tool, but there are plenty of people trading tickets and their STs on Facebook groups to get the full cost back instead.

I’m slightly knackered for SAFC as I’m north of the Tyne so reliant on finding someone local otherwise have to mess about posting cards back and forth. There’s at least one Mam in the schoolyard who supports the lads so planning on just asking her if she wants the tickets for free as/when

And some people want us to “consolidate”

We are the biggest club in the Championship, let’s set out our stall to make a mark!
Spot on. That's what i said to my lad yesterday when he said "we will have to get used to losing games now".. i said we are the biggest club in that league aswel and shouldn't be afraid of anybody in this league. Sod this surviving malarky. WE ARE SUNDERLAND...we go again.

After the scramble for Wembley tickets, I really hope that a lot of folk now commit to a SC. There is no reason why we can’t push towards sales of 30k
The trouble is if we get too many having a SC might not even guarantee a ticket for some ticket allocations

Me and my son moved yesterday to U19, we looked for 5 together as his mate was joining us as well as my mate and his dad. Got our 3 together then at 7 oclock last night my mate went on to get the remaining 2 and someone else bought them there and then! they both went a couple of rows down but theyre sharp getting snapped up

I need to contact the ticket office regarding my season card, is it open at all? tried the phone numerous times and emailed them.

I have just e mailed the ticket office and got the automated reply, as I am sure you have, that they will reply in three days or longer if they are particulary busy.

They aren't quick responding to email but it has been suggested the best thing to do is email them with a phone number to call you back on. By all accounts the most efficient way to deal with anything complicated.

Indeed but what a nice problem to have. All big, successful clubs have the same issues.
