We don’t have a choice! There’s at last one more season in this league, until the team is good enough to be promoted.

Totally agree. Action required at this stage but hopefully the other bid gets the nod.
Can’t take Storey seriously at this stage to be honest.

That would depend on the terms of the loan. If it's a term loan, it's more than likely there'll be a hefty early payment penalty on top of the capital sum.
