Haven’t been running since New a year, but on holiday this weeke and went out for a couple of 3k starter runs again. Feeling okay, apart from a bit of a dodgy knee so going to try and build it back up again to a parkrun in the next few weeks.
Didn't know you spoke Italian mate.

I wonder if @Fletch ran today, he was mortal last night :lol:
No one likes a rememberer Dan.

Starting to get nervous about Edinburgh now, not much training this week but have done a lot of walking, still managed to put a bit weight back on tho.

Only up to 17 miles, should be up to 19 by now.

Took some new trail trainers out on Saturday, had to stop half way and get picked up, at 4 miles, due to them rubbing my little toes to oblivion.

Was a bit of a fanny move but have Durham trail 10 mile and a half marathon coming up and didn’t want any niggles for them

Try not to worry too much about it. Time on your feet helps even if you're not running. I was struggling badly this time last year & had only managed to top 15 miles once & had already dropped out of Manchester Marathon. Got a transfer from a mate for Edinburgh just before the deadline & only got up to 20 miles 3 weeks before the Marathon & did Sunderland ½ Marathon 2 Weeks before & the Pier to Pier the week before as tapering runs & still got round in a reasonable time for me. Just had to take a dose of reality & adjust the pace down a bit.

Raced my first 10000m on the track tonight at Monkton. Wasn’t as tedious as I thought. Decent pace for 5 miles but struggled last. Finished 7th in 33.11. Still got lapped by the winner like
was that a british masters one mate ?
