Running Thread 2019



Mine was Wednesday. Absolute pissed sweat.

Manchester marathon on Sunday for me. Hoping to jog round in about 3:20.
Pack of wotsits beforehand probably didn’t help. I’m wanting a sub 2.15 HM and that will be a slog :lol:
 
On my way there this morning. Had stomach infection all week and been on antibiotics. Still feel rope but as trained for 6 months don't wanna cancel. Was looking for close to 4 hrs now just looking to get round in one piece
Take it easy man!

Did 14 mile 2 weeks ago and nowt since, to get back on track I need to do a 16 miler, but thinking I may be pushing it too far.

Not long back, 15.5 mile, furthest I’ve ever ran by 1.5 miles.

Can’t imagine doing another 10, better buck my ideas up this next 6 weeks!

Managed just over 10 minute miles, was on 10 but struggled the last few miles. I seen to struggle most with the distance I’ve never ran before, so was ok up to 14 but struggled badly after that, almost gave up.

My training plan only takes me up to 20 miles but I think I need to be up to 23 or 24.
