Mag or not, it pisses me off when people post their own thread when there’s a massive topic of the same thing going on. Attention seeking bastards.Nice to give the mag op the chance to out himself.

It’s like the clubs social media account doesn’t existHis first few days of posting he spelled everything absolutely fine. Then one day thought he’d not look like he had any SAFC involvement by spelling everything wrong![]()
Been discussed else. Plenty don't want Keane, including me.We used to laugh at the mags over their Keegan and Shearer obsession. We are going the same over Keane and Defoe. We just lost 6-0 and it’s seems forgotten over a couple of big names.
I like Defoe but can’t stand Keane. Some of the things he’s said and done over the years are appalling. We will become Ireland reserves again and that won’t get us where we want to be.
Well there'd be absolutely zero feelgood if McCann was appointed instead. None. What's the actual state of play? Keane & McCann are both confirmed as having interviews?
I don't want to rain on people's parade; I know Keane would be a very popular appointment and football is an emotional sport. But we'd be hoping that he drags us up through sheer force of personality rather than any particular tactical nous. It's been a long time since he managed... I just don't know if he fits the bill of the type of manager we'd be looking for.
I do like him, I just don't know if he's the man for the job right now. Would that feelgood character be enough to carry us through?

Keane can see sense of sharing the Sunderland workload
ROY KEANE insists the changes are set to continue at Sunderland and he has not ruled out bringing in a director of football to lighten his workload.www.thenorthernecho.co.uk
Keane can see sense of sharing the Sunderland workload
"But Keane, who is by no means ready to appoint someone in the short-term, has not been put off the idea by the developments.
"I wouldn't rule it out because the demands on the manager are huge," said the Irishman. "The demands on Alex Ferguson must be unbelievable, whether it be going to dinners, going to watch youth matches, going to watch players. I bet you it's the same with Chelsea.
"I wouldn't rule out something like that coming to Sunderland eventually. I'm very open-minded with stuff like that but it would have to be my choice. If someone came in it would have to be the person I wanted to come in as director of football."

Marvellous, giver not taker.
Nah he was shite, only took us from relegation candidates having just been relegated with an embarrassing points total for the second time in three years or something.Because he wasn’t even that good last time.

Because he’s done no management for 10 year and absolutely fuck all for 14 year and failed everywhere he’s been apart from here. Why would any safc fan not want Keane ?
Well yes, if it's a Keane vs McCann choice, I would take Keane. But there are other options.
