Going to listen to this in the gym later.

Loved Bardo. Saw him in Crete airport once. Well I spotted his lass first, absolute wad, and he was there walking behind on crutches. Said alright to me when he saw me clock his lass :) Think it was around the time PDC was in charge.

He actually mentions going to Crete after he broke his foot, says he saw @xmfd off the SMB eyeing Tanya up anarl ;)

I've only just started listening to the Roker Rapport podcasts and I've been really impressed with the work they do and the fact they manage to attract these ex players etc onto the podcast - gives fans a really good insight.

Normally you would expect the ex players to be ones still linked with the area etc but they have had a good and wide range of ex players on.

Would love to see Quinny on or Reidy (particularly in giving them a right of response to the Murray interview).
I'm not sure what we would learn that we don't already know. I love them both but Quinny would be too diplomatic and Reidy does dozens of talk ins every year.

Just listening now, he hates the Mags mind :)
He seems to accept responsibility and that he f***ed up with the casino incident.
Sounds like a real decent lad to be fair

Always has been

Excellent player for us and achieved some really good things

Tell ya what mind, for a lad that loves the club so much he can barely remember any details of any games

Enjoyed that. Not one person will ever convince me that fucker PDC was hard done by.

He was nuts but a couple of things Bardsley didn’t like him for there aren’t that unreasonable.

The diet thing should be a non issue. Do what he says. Don’t get pissed. If you do, face the consequences.

And the main thing he got wrong was criticising Di Canio for bringing the players in to talk about what could be improved after the 3-0. Nearly every top manager in history has been praised for that approach. And plenty could be improved upon from that win. As was shown the following season when we absolutely battered them from first to last kick

It's more the making the majority of people at the AOL unhappy in their workplace, from players to admin and beyond

An egotistical bellend (him not thou)

Made them turn the tele off because they were laughing and using too much energy up :)
Bardsley also says he went to apologise to him after the Casino incident, he knew he’d been massively in the wrong, but PDC wouldn’t even speak to him, then banished him to under 23’s

He handled Bardsley terribly. Yes he was in the wrong and deserved to be punished but at least talk to the bloke

Really enjoyed it. Cracking bloke is Phil. His missus apparently had some good thinks to say about us on real housewives of Cheshire too.

Chimbonda anarl

Superb podcast lads. Bardsley is the best right back of my time we have had and im 23 seasons deep (too young to appreciate makin). Brilliant to hear how he feels about the club and the exact type of players we need now. Sign the bugger in jan!
