We're chatting tomorrow with Phil Bardsley about his time at Sunderland and, as per, I'm opening up the floor to you lot on here to put forward your own questions that you'd like us to ask him!

Please reply and we'll try and fit in as many as we possibly can.
 


Why did you feel it appropriate to laugh when we lost to Fulham? What was the story behind it?
 
He went from a limited defender who barely crossed the halfway line to one of our biggest goal threats overnight, what happened and why did he suddenly start shooting and taking free kicks all the time? Obviously word it better than that...

Why did him and Kilgallon go on the piss midweek when Di Canio (famed disciplinarian/mentalist) had specifically told them not to?

Haven't had a good one full stop! I was no great fan of Bardsley but it sums the club up how we let him go on a free but signed 6 right backs since on similar or higher wages who were nowhere near as good.
 
Ask him if he remembers talking to lads in Houghton William Hill the day before the goal at Everton in the cup :cool: said he would score and oh he did!!

One of our most successful Players in a good period for the club and this is all we can ask?

What about winning the pen at the mags, getting us to wembley, the winner against man city etc

Haven't had a good one full stop! I was no great fan of Bardsley but it sums the club up how we let him go on a free but signed 6 right backs since on similar or higher wages who were nowhere near as good.

I wasn’t asking on behalf of anyone else mate. Just me. I’ve always been curious as to how that came about. If I had an axe to grind about the lad, I’d have been asking about the casino thing. And yes Di Canio was loopy. I’m hoping to hear a bit more about him anarl.
