RLB will be gone before next season

The talk on here is absolutely unbelievable.

We're on course for a top 10 finish, in our first season back in the Premier League and some deluded "fans" are calling for him to be sacked.

We do have areas of improvement, but to call for our manager to be sacked is embarrassing.
We’re not like.

Some of the reactions on here have been way more embarrassing than the performance yesterday.

When you consider how rarely half-decent managers turn up at Sunderland, and even rarer one who has two successful seasons in a row, I'm incredulous so many want to roll the dice & get lucky twice in a row (and we did get lucky with RLB - the board wanted to appoint Will Still initially, and before that they appointed Beale).

In my mind it's very much a characteristic of the modern social media fan addicted to dopamine hits - transfer windows, endless sackings & hirings in the search for quick fixes to any lean spell. But it's worth thinking about the most successful manager of my lifetime, Reid, got relegated on his first go & had a diabolical start to the following season that had many fans calling for his head even then (the football we played in his first couple of seasons was efficient, but hardly scintilating stuff). Instead he was given time, and stumbled upon a system that gave us the best & most successful football we've seen at the club in half a century. If Reid could do it, I don't see any reason why Le Bris can't.

Unfortunatley the OP is totally correct.

We must take into account that in RLB's first season in charge it took the entire season to get promoted, why the delay?

In his second season it has taken him to 30 games to acquire a miserable 40 points.

Sadly he become the first manager/coach to secure PL status for a promoted club in 3 years, what a loser!

Get him gone and help bring back the sad times that we so relish

Talks in riddles about connections
dynamics and experiences reminiscent of Cantona and the seagulls

Any manager worth his salt would have put a rocket up them at half time but we have been papering over the cracks for a long time.

Lets face it we got lucky in the play offs, lucky at Wembley and Xhaka has been acting as de,-facto manager on and off the pitch.

Without him we are rudderless and will probably splutter our way to safety.

Ghisolfi brought in a number of quality players who dont need a great deal of " management" and yet RLB still insists on Hume in the hybrid role.

KLD has to much invested to fail and Ghisolfi will be working on a manager to take us to the next level.

Nice guy but he has to go in the name of progress.
In all liklihood you are on a wind up. Le Bris has done a fantastic job and is still in the process of learning about English football. He is not going anywhere and nor should he. A coach who buys into the overall strategy and process is key and that is Le Bris. Mowbray was not that type of coach and nor was Neil. I think he has made mistakes this season, most notably yesterday, but, as long as he continues to analyse and review what he gets wrong, I think le Bris will be here for a long time yet.

Nah, get him peddled and bring in Ten Hag or Dyche.

What will it take for you to go away?

Missed Hume yesterday. Clear why he plays him ahead of Geertrudia now.

Regis
Actually, yes, good point. A lot of yesterday was about attitude and some players like Diarra, Talbi, Mayenda and Isidor were found wanting in that department. We massively missed Hume and Sadiki.

If you look at his posting history, he's not. He's had it in for RLB since he joined.

The same bloke also said that he didn't think Brobbey could do a job up front in the derby prior to our win, and that ELF was too small and weak.

As much as our football is mund numbingly boring, Le Bris has enough credit in the bank to have next season in charge imo. What a job he has done, hopefully he improves going forward next season and we finish the season strong. He has gave us some magic moments this season and done an unbelievable job, he should be in contention for Manager of the Season imo. Hopefully this was a wake up call for Regis. He needs a good assistant alongside him aswel imo. A necessity......i'm not so sure KLD will be as pateint though.

Ahh, yes I remember now. This is the bloke who posted every second he could bashing Geldhardt isn't it. A young player who's doing really well at Hull now.

I think you make a good point about an assistant. I don't know the situation but when he was thinking about the tactics against a scrappy L1 outfit someone should have explained that lobbing the ball up to Mayenda was never going to work. That is the style of play they come up to every week. He got it badly wrong yesterday.
