RLB will be gone before next season

Talks in riddles about connections
dynamics and experiences reminiscent of Cantona and the seagulls

Any manager worth his salt would have put a rocket up them at half time but we have been papering over the cracks for a long time.

Lets face it we got lucky in the play offs, lucky at Wembley and Xhaka has been acting as de,-facto manager on and off the pitch.

Without him we are rudderless and will probably splutter our way to safety.

Ghisolfi brought in a number of quality players who dont need a great deal of " management" and yet RLB still insists on Hume in the hybrid role.

KLD has to much invested to fail and Ghisolfi will be working on a manager to take us to the next level.

Nice guy but he has to go in the name of progress.
An ultra provocative post. Well done

The result and performance yesterday was an embarrassment but some of our fans are putting the Leeds fans' meltdown the other night to shame. Some absolutely embarrassing stuff being posted.

Regis has done a fantastic taking the team that finished 16th in championship to promotion and keeping us up. Having said that if KLD thinks he can get better I think he's ruthless enough to get rid. What he isn't going to do however, is meltdown like a complete idiot because our form as dropped in the midst of an injury crisis.

Looks to be following the exact same pattern as Roy Keane.

Promotion in his first season.

Top flight safety in his second season.

Third season sacked in December after a poor start ?

Whether it’s with our without RLB, I hope whoever our manager is on the opening day of next season is also our manager on the final day.

We are doomed - doomed ah tells ya!

Seriously why sack him? His priority was to ensure we did not go back down. He has done that and now deserves to take it on - hopefully to be an established Premier League club and not like that rubbish up the road. OK we lost to a club from the League One. Not the first time and wont be the last. We have been beaten before by teams lower than that FFS - Yeovil 49, Bradford 70 and I have not looked at the records yet. When we play Tow Law at home and get beat then I will worry. Just relax and have a coffee...

Aussie gonk

I like Regis but I do think there is a question mark hanging over his head regarding his style of play. Seems to set up exactly the same whether we are playing Liverpool or Port Vale. He never really mixes things up or changes things round.

Most managers yesterday would of been more on the front foot, get the ball wide, get crosses in and get bodies in the box yet 80 mins in and we still persisting with that sideways backwards nonsense in our own half

I find it increasingly difficult sice Covid to have a rational discussion on here. Tin foil hat is the defacto default slur for those who have lost the ability for critical thinking. Hardly surprising when 1p 36 gene deletion was the number one listed side effect of the Pfizer and Moderna gene therapy injections.

He's not failed at all. He's done exactly what was required this season in staying up.

Theres some obvious problems that we can all see. RLB is a more cautious, defensive minded head coach, and I've no idea if he's willing or able to change his mentality to get that attacking side of our game going.

KLD and Gisholfi will be looking on. They'll both have agents of managers contacting them, expressing their interest and they've been pretty ruthless so far...

There really is some absolute knackers on this board. We laugh at the mags for posts and attitudes like the OP. We were absolutely shite yesterday but to be calling for the managers head/speculating his sacking when the bloke has us top 10 in the Prem on first go is lifting crack. Bore off

Our best / most successful manager since Big Sam (10+ years?).

Massively overachieved since getting here and reached our goal of safety this year with 9 games to spare.

Just ask West Ham / Forrest fans how sacking their manager for more attractive football has gone for them
It's not about attractive football. It's about actually scoring goals. 1 goal in open play in 7 games is objectively terrible

I don't think RLB is in any danger this season (quite rightly) but I do think next season they'll be expecting more. So far he's been given everything he's asked for. He made it clear in January Adingra wasn't the kind of winger he wanted so they took a hit on him and gave him exactly the kind of winger he wanted. They will be expecting returns from that

Probably best some people come off here for a few days.....some have taken the fa cup defeat like we have been relegated to league one!

It's been an unbelievable season, for a club to sneak up via the play offs and then be on 40 points at the start of March is tremendous....not surprised some of the players are struggling now as we literally have no quality in depth yet (will take two or three seasons to get a full squad of prem quality players, where you can rotate and keep the players fresh for this time of the season).
