    £1.69 for 12 co-op own brand chipolatas. 72% pork

    How can Richmond get away with being so costly and lacking in meat?

    Cannit beat proper butchers sausage anyhow rather than that shite.
    Good old Cumberland hits the spot for me and I like Cocklakes farm shop just off A66, Thomasons in Keswick, Cranstons or a couple of canny Butchers in Cockermouth.
    Local I like Pickings in East Boldon and used to like Gordon`s till his recent closing

    Quite genuinely, seek out the Geordie Banger company. At least I think that’s their name. They have a stall down the Quayside on Sundays.

    I make me own, 1kg pork (about 2/3 shoulder, 1/3 belly), breadcrumbs, some herbs and spices and a touch of water and bobs yer uncle, about 2 dozen good size sausages out of it. Bought a cheap mincer and sausage stuffer, and get my collagen skins off ebay.

    I prefer Richmond's sausages over the more expensive ones. I find the more expensive ones taste wise too rich.
