Northern trains

checked bus from ours for shits n giggles....

80 stops, 70 minutes.

15 milejourney!

or amore direct one lol... 68 stops 77 minutes.
 Mileage can vary like.

x10 to work is about 5 stops and about 40-45 mins and I can walk to the bus stop at home.

same trip on train is 5 stops, lift to the station, and about an hour. It’s also about a third more expensive on a monthly basis

Managed to squeeze on at Seaham on Saturday on the 12.20 train but it's the first time we have got on this season. We have been turned away every other time.
It was ridiculous how packed it was.
Do they offer a replacement bus? Or have you got to wait for the next one?

Just wait till they build that new Station at Horden next year!!
How’s anyone ever gona get on there, or Seaham after it.:mad:

Was just going to say this. Plenty will be trying to get the train from Horden from next Spring. Sounds like an absolute shambles at the minute.

Thinking of getting the 16:40 from Thornaby on Friday. Anyone used this service before? Will it be that busy I won't get on?

You should be okay we often get this for night games most folk haven't left work yet so you should be OK if you see a little drunk with a grey hair old man that's me

Not with the grey hair
