He'll hang on as long as possible & re-sign if no better offers come along.

Can't see any of the top 6 in the PL or title contenders from Germany, Spain or Italy coming in for him like.

This. He's on a massive wage and all he has to do is not be so shit that he relegates them. Being honest they should be more than capable of staying up and that's job done for him. Nice easy job where no one gets on his back if they never improve. Hell, even if he does take them down it won't massively harm his reputation, all the blame will be on Ashley as normal. He might leave, but he's got it pretty canny where he is it would need to be a big offer

Yep he is in a very comfortable position because there is no pressure on him as in the eyes of the fans, he can do no wrong.

I predict he will make himself the biggest hypocrite in football management by signing a new contract. It would beggar belief after his constant whining and complaining but I think it might well happen.
" Whining and complaining " is what he has done at every club he's managed, FACT.

Hated the fat **** at Liverpool and even more so now. Without a shit load of cash to spend hes just an average manager.

He will leave them when they get relegated. Will end up managing a midtable Spanish side like Getafe or Villarreal.
Us meeting them in the Championship is still on that Man City Win the other week is fake news on where they are in the PL. A Sunderland Win coupled with Portsmouth Win & Newcastl loss Gerrrrin Lads & lasses .....

The only chance of silverware is the cups and he's never taken them seriously since he arrived so I'm not too sure what he's on about.

There's also the point that pretty much every club he's been at, the players have already been there to win him those trophies.....this is the man who got shot of Xavi Alonso to try and bring in Gareth Barry.

Got them promotion and finished 10th. What happened the season before promotion?
Managed to squeeze in his champions league win and 11 other trophies.
Even Luke Edwards mentioned in a report yesterday he had a better squad than the rest of the bottom six so would have no arguement if they were relegated.

Ronnie Gill byline: "The experienced Spaniard has postponed contract discussions to focus on Newcastle's relegation battle"

knowing what a winner the FSW is - courtesy of the resident Mags on here - that's a battle he's bound win.....gerrin......serial relegation winner.
