Quite enjoyed this but I actually wouldn’t mind it being heavier in parts. I liked the Sprints album but I don’t think it’s one that I’ll go back to, really.Only 4 albums I really like this year are the pretty obvious ones already stated
Four Tet
Adrianne Lenker
The Smile
Paranoid London
Tried with the few suggested like Mannequin Pussy, Sprints, The Last Dinner Party. Just done nowt for me sadly. I’m probably in a bit of a slump for new music at the moment as the new FWF stuff has done nowt for me as well.
House of All. Mark E Smith will either be turning in his grave or pissing himself laughing. It's a difficult one to figure outBill Ryder-Jones
Gruff Rhys
Liam Bailey
Birthmark
Sprints
My top 5, I think.
There are new albums tomorrow from Bob Vylan, Conan Gray, Dana Gavanski, Grace Cummings, Gustaf, Jane Weaver, Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign, Katie Pruitt, Khruangbin, Marcus King, Mount Kimbie, Old 97s, Palace, Pernice Brothers, Phosphorescent, Sinkane, Still Corners, The Black Keys, The Libertines, Vampire Weekend, Hawkwind, House of All, Under the Bridge 2 (a compilation of bands who recorded on Sarah Records), Anoushka Shankar, Broken Chanter and Cedric Burnside.
Despite pre-ordering it, I'd forgotten Drahla release their second album tomorrow. Quite a good week for me.

Had to double check I hadn't woken up in 2005 after reading this post.Just listened to Libertines new one and got to say it was bloody brilliant. More to come today:
Black Keys
The K's
Vampire Weekend
Good Cop Bad Cop (Joe Carnall from Milburn)
Do it! It's brilliant. I thought the song 'Happiness In Proximity' most resembled Broadcast. She's playing the Glasshouse (sage) on the 24th April.Jane weavers had some canny records out.Reminds me a bit of broadcast.Might have a listen
