WH Lung is just magic.
Thoroughly enjoyed it, and I’ve only listened to it once so far!

I found it hit and miss. Some absolute crackers, but I’m really not keen on Lake Martinez.Idlewild - I'm torn. Been looking forward to it (I preordered despite not being keen on the last one) and I definitely enjoyed listening to it. I do have respect for bands who "grow" and experiment with their sound and they really sound very little like the band I loved in that Hope Is Important - Warnings sweet spot...but truth be told, even though I enjoyed it, the standouts for me were still the couple of tracks that sounded most like old Idlewild. Maybe I'm just stuck.

It is indeed
will check this out - from the name I believe she’s supporting the Mountain Goats this time aroundShana Cleveland: quite ballady. It's a good week for female solo artists and this is another good album. She's singer with La Luz, who do sort of surf rock type stuff.
Just listening to weyes blood and its really good. Also the last helado negro is a decent listen if you like a bit of synth pop!
