Crack Cloud were rather good. Worth watching out for
Drahla were excellent, although she definitely wants to be Kim Gordon

Shares my surname, although a slightly different spelling. No idea who he is (other than not being the similarly monickered Libertines bass player / Yeti) but I’m though to listen to him! Also Gruff Rhys and Get Up Kids.Seems like a quieter week for new releases but still some good stuff: Ali Shaheed Muhammed and Adrian Younge, Dave Matthews Band, Gruff Rhys, Jorja Smith, Kids See Ghosts, Lily Allen, Lykke Li, Snail Mail, The Get Up Kids (an EP), Virginia Wing, Erin Rae, Port Sulphur, Kacy Johansing, Howlin Rain and Jon Hassell.

Tonight I have been to see Flat Worms (I love a gig that finishes at a reasonable time, i am old)
Now I love Radiohead, the National, Arcade Fire (live at least, the new stuff is crap) , Parquet Courts, Fat White Family, Oh Sees and many many many more but trust me when I say that these blokes are the most important band in the world right now.
