There has been some good stuff. But Mount Eerie apart, there hasn't been a great album

Somehow the Mount eerie passed me by so I'm going to get into in morning.
Not seeing Nick Cave on this tour mate, I'm not in London for his date there.
 
Unfortunately I've been underwhelmed by the ones I was most hopeful for, namely Arcade Fire, Public Service Broadcasting and Father John Misty.
I'm now waiting on LCD and War on Drugs to deliver

That's quite bad. TBH, he needs to smarten up, get a haircut and eat his greens or he'll never get on Top of the Pops.

I'll add Big Thief's album. First was patchy but the second is a bit marvellous.

I missed releases by Girl Ray and Dead Cross from my list for this week (both get cracking reviews in the Guardian today). Also, there are some Brian Eno albums re-released on posh vinyl.
 
I love The Regrettes. Jesus, the singer is only 16.......

Just listened to the new UNKLE track, Sunrise always comes around. Really enjoying it. Very housey as opposed to breakbeat / hip hop / trip hop

FJM is too long and one paced IMO. This is the Kit's is excellent.
 
Had day to myself so been catching up on a bit of Balearic / slo mo.
Some brilliant new stuff from Tommy Awards and Farbror Resande Mac.
