Well getting interesting at the bottom, both Sacriston and Washing winning, pulling Whitburn back into it. Next week Sacriston host Washington. Burnhopefield look to be falling away.

Rain affected weekend relegating Boldon to NEDCL*
Burnopfield only side to get a game started and gained 4 bonus pts on rivals in Prem.
Still plenty to play for elsewhere.

*dependent on clubs meeting NEPL criteria

Is there not still a play off with the winners of the northumberland league?
Likely to be Seaham Park (although not 100% confirmed yet, as its close with South Shields and Esh Winning).

Tight at the top and bottom of Premier division and top of the 1st division
Speaking to a lad from Seaham Park at the match on Saturday and they expecting a play off match end of season this year to get into the nepl

Yes if both teams meet the criteria it would (current league standings) be Consett v Seaham Park

Burnhopefield vs Washington this weekend will go a long way to resolving who stays up.

Limited knowledge of Consett CC, a quick look on their website, says they are planning for 2022 and beyond. Would suggest they have ambitions to join NEPL.
Joining local rival Shotley Bridge, Lanchester, Burnopfield and Blaydon.

Similar to Burnmoor, Philadelphia, Chester, Eppleton and the Lyons. Derby days every week.

Miss out Consett v Blaydon and Chester v Lyons/Eppleton/Phili and you have a point.

Shotley / Consett, definitely splitting hairs there man. Which direction do you want to go?

Chester 5mins away from the Houghton & Hetton clubs up past fencehouses.

Anyway, its just an observation on local groups, not a geography lesson. More likely to come across your mates on a Saturday to add that extra meaning to your game for bragging rights.

It looked a geography lesson to me 😀.I didn’t mention Shotley v Consett by the way,but I know where you’re coming from.Greater rivalry will mean a few more in attendance I wo
