It makes everything blue though.

Small price to pay to not be dazzled. It makes everything blue though.
Its dark. You'd only see headlights anyway. It makes everything blue though.
Annoying as fuck. I suppose its ok for me to drive with full beam on all the time then?So say the RAC:
“Drivers are being temporarily blinded by modern vehicle headlights, according to an RAC survey.
Two-thirds of drivers say they are "regularly dazzled" by oncoming headlights even though they are dipped, the survey of 2,061 motorists suggests.”

I’ve thought this for a while. Seems like every bloody new Audi that goes past blinds with me the ultra bright new headlights. I guess they’re LEDs?
AgreeI'm convinced they are all driving round with high beams on.
Some of them look blue in the distance as well which I thought wasn't allowed
Great for you, until you come across someone with the same car, doing it to you.Mine do that. Love it.
You drive one of these cars then? You're clearly better than the rest of us.A lot of women on this thread.
Try going for an eye test, you are likely to be less dazzled.
Clearly identifiable by the posters supporting said lights...Normally cars driven by wankers.
No surprise there.
This. How many lights do they want???Nissan Jukes and those god awful Dusters are bad for it imo
yes thats why you have a 3 or 4 position switch in thecabSo if you've got a car full, you actually adjust your lights to compensate?
come across them regular. Nowt to get your knickers in a twist about, ya f***ing melt.Great for you, until you come across someone with the same car, doing it to you.
.
It doesnt help that indicators nowadays are virtually hidden and seem to be in a different place on every car - you knew where to look when the “glass” for them was amber and usually on the front bumper!Yeah, they've made the headlights so bright you can't actually make out the much dimmer indicators
My Merc had those , they don’t work very well so I ended up dipping them manually anyway. Another useless modern option to go alongside auto wipers - that either stubbornly refuse to wipe when you want them on the low setting , or never switch off when you want them to on the high setting! Bring back the time delay and bin this rain sensor shit! The worst at the reactive headlights (or whatever they are called) that BMW and a few others run. They dip themselves whenwtraffic is oncoming and shape left or right around bends, but even some headlights that are fixed and are on dipped are ridiculous.
It's made even worse when your car is lower than everything else like mine, I constantly have my rear view mirror dipped on a night as I get blinded from every angle.
They must look at the Pistonheads forum as there was a recent thread about all this on it.
Eh, you can move the wiper switch so it wipes manually with auto wipers. It doesnt help that indicators nowadays are virtually hidden and seem to be in a different place on every car - you knew where to look when the “glass” for them was amber and usually on the front bumper!

I thought everyone did (not). So if you've got a car full, you actually adjust your lights to compensate?
Any need for the insults?come across them regular. Nowt to get your knickers in a twist about, ya f***ing melt.
Agree, you can turn them off. Just laziness though, isn't it?Eh, you can move the wiper switch so it wipes manually with auto wipers.
Likewise with the lights, you can flick the switch to go between high and dipped beam.
Need to read your manual.
It is but then also it’s a sign o the times. Millennial don’t want to have to turn things on.Any need for the insults?

Yeah Nissans start a light show from about a quarter mile behind youNissan Jukes and those god awful Dusters are bad for it imo
