To be fair with the right service Wykey, could be unplayable in this league. Parkinson will surely see that.

If we had better defenders I would say our forwards and midfield would be suited to counter-attacking
 
There was a spell of about 8 minutes (after about 80) when we seemed to remember how to pass and offer the man with the ball an option, and we cut them open twice. Sadly their keeper saved the first and the second went past the post. If we could get these f*ckers to play football with each other for more than a few minutes at a time, we would do OK. We cannot compete at long ball. We do not have pace. We will have to do it with off-the ball running. And man-marking when defending set pieces would help. Their man was alone when the corner came in, so had no marker when the ball came loose. Discipline and effort required.
 
The new level of "long ball" was that one that isn't a long ball at all because if it was we would have been in the final third of the pitch regularly and the defenders and midfield wouldn't have still been fannying about with the ball with minutes to go and those who did try a long ball would have got past the half way line. Whoever is up front hardly gets a chance as the ball never reaches them. We are playing desperation football lacking in tactics. The players need to own up

boils my piss that, we show spells of a superior outfit then 2 minutes later, hooooof.
As you say, we looked handy for that short period.
