It would have to be something I didn't see him in. So either Five or Luther?that was the first actor in the role, this one made it 57

Luther. A masked serial killer. It would have to be something I didn't see him in. So either Five or Luther?
Ah. Didn't watch Luther. Idris Elba makes me want to heave.Luther. A masked serial killer.
though I don't think he is a killer in this
lot of gore in Luther.Ah. Didn't watch Luther. Idris Elba makes me want to heave.
I like a bit of gore actually. It was his acting I couldn't stand. I wasn't convinced by Maigret -tried to watch it but found I was reading and googling on my tablet, so obviously it didn't 'grip' me. Didn't Michael Gambon do Maigret years back? I don't think I was keen on that either.lot of gore in Luther.
what do you think of the new Maigret?
undecided me and I like this sort of murder/mystery stuff
he did in the 70s iirc. I'm currently watching the most recent maigret and its a bit slowI like a bit of gore actually. It was his acting I couldn't stand. Ah - I couldn't watch that as I can't bear Rupert Penry Jones! Quite a few people I can't stand.he did in the 70s iirc. I'm currently watching the most recent maigret and its a bit slow
as for gore, Whitechapel?

70s!! Maigret with Gambon was in the 90s - I've just googled it. I'm not as bloody old as you think!

mind I am now watching a bit of the Sweeney. Loved it back when it was first on and still like it now
'We're The Sweeney, son, and we haven't had any dinner.' I think I'm right in saying that Lynda La Plante had a small role as a tart in one episode. Not really something I watched tbh.I am that old and thought it was the 70s

You can't always expect it to be true!Reet, just caught up with two episodes a day. I have spotted right at the start what is definitely an important clue. When the head girl in gegs first rings Thandie she does it on Thandie's home phone. The writer flags to us three times it's the home phone, so it's important. And yet when Thandie is in her car and ringing the husband, she uses her mobile. Why didn't gegs girl ring her on her mobile? Is it a secret mobile eh? Eh?
Dinnar who did it tho but.
Roy Kinnear a villain? Only in the Sweeney. I love watching old stuff and spotting well known actors.love the patter me of the Sweeney, then minder
old school class.
episode earlier had alun Armstrong playing a villain.
very first episode of the Sweeney had a young looking dot cotton in it
the one I am watching at the moment has Roy kinnear as a villain
stacks in the Sweeney. Peter Vaughan, groutie out of porridge was playing a hard case, with a young boycie as his muscleRoy Kinnear a villain? Only in the Sweeney. I love watching old stuff and spotting well known actors.
I meant quite!!To be quiet honest this is so far ahead of any other British program, there is no point arguing about it!

Blarn.It's
I have said from the start that I would be disappointed if it was as it seemed to be leading it too strong.
I can't wait to see how this unravels.... are they luring in that top brass with the pregnant wpc? What is going on?
