It would have to be something I didn't see him in. So either Five or Luther?
  3. Luther. A masked serial killer.

though I don't think he is a killer in this

Ah. Didn't watch Luther. Idris Elba makes me want to heave.
  5. lot of gore in Luther.

what do you think of the new Maigret?

undecided me and I like this sort of murder/mystery stuff

I like a bit of gore actually. It was his acting I couldn't stand. I wasn't convinced by Maigret -tried to watch it but found I was reading and googling on my tablet, so obviously it didn't 'grip' me. Didn't Michael Gambon do Maigret years back? I don't think I was keen on that either.

Ah - I couldn't watch that as I can't bear Rupert Penry Jones! Quite a few people I can't stand.
70s!! Maigret with Gambon was in the 90s - I've just googled it. I'm not as bloody old as you think!

'We're The Sweeney, son, and we haven't had any dinner.' I think I'm right in saying that Lynda La Plante had a small role as a tart in one episode. Not really something I watched tbh.

To be quiet honest this is so far ahead of any other British program, there is no point arguing about it!

Whitechapel was good for a series then concentrated on the wrong parts of the story imo.

    Now Messiah, that was good!
