Both the only real areas I drink at these days apart from the odd day at Ouseburn.

There's 5 cracking little micro pubs in Whitley Bay that we go to.

Love Ouseburn.

What they called marra? I've only frequented three. Looks like it's starting to become a good area for a day on it.

Exactly. He asked about Jesmond and someone randomly pipes up with crack about Gosforth. Happens loads on here.

Edit: Bit like when someone asks where is best, A or B, and numpties start prattling on about C.
I’d already answered him previously you glue bag

What’s that split chimp like? Been thinking of having a look in.

Really good selection of drink, although I preferred it at its old location but that was more for its intimacy/charm I guess (its replacement, Box Social is a great little place) as the new place is much bigger so sometimes lacks atmosphere. Friday nights are good mind.

Lonsdale is what I would class as my local when I’m out in Jesmond.

The rest of the pubs down there aren’t great tbh.

Osbourne's used to be my regular haunt but I reckon it turned shit when they did the refurb.
Is the brandling and colly still open

The Split Chimp
The Dog and Rabbit
Gilbert and Smiths
Storm Cellar
Left Luggage Room

Also Nord Bottle Shop, but it's an offie you can drink in

Ah right, wasn't thinking of the metro place. Done four of them in that case (not Storm Cellar).

Aye, spent a few quid in that 'offie'.
