Is a world without racism possible?

There you go again speaking on behalf of others again. Just because a few cereal cafe dwellers deem me a racist doesn’t make it true.
I’ve challenged you to find a racist remark I’ve made and you failed. Stamping your feet and becoming hysterical doesn’t change that.
I've not stamped my feet or became hysterical.

Mate, almost every single one of your posts is anti-Islam, anti-immigration, anti-integration etc, you won't admit to being racist but it's obvious to everyone.

I know the vast majority of Muslim are fine but how many lives do the minority have to ruin before something is done? It's obviously a religion at odds with the western world so why are we encouraging it?
If you can't see there's an issue with integration between the Muslim faith and the western world then you need to open your eyes son.
If you're a non white in this country it seems you can throw any kind of slander regarding race around you like with zero consequences!
Because every non white is terrified of being branded a racist!
Country is becoming a fuckin joke man!

I could post hundreds, but I won't. I don't care if you're racist, or "pro-white", I just wanted to know why.

You haven’t found anything as there’s nothing to find. You’ve stamped your feet over nothing which people of your ilk tend to do and that dilutes what actual racism is.
Yep. I’m over here all stampy. You’re the voice of reason. You don’t know anything about me, let alone who is of my ‘ilk’. You are a racist, however, so I’m pretty unmoved by your opinion on anything.

How many on here (who are white) will admit that, whilst they're not racist, they'd rather live in a street full of white people rather than blacks and Asians?

My street is about 50/50 white and Bengali, and I’d rather the whites fucked off and their houses were taken by more Bengalis. If there is any bother down my street you can guarantee it is amongst the white charvas and the local (white) drug dealer. The police are here pretty regularly raiding the white smack-head’s house, too. The only bother from the Bengalis is them beeping their f***ing car horns at all hours of the night.

So you want all the white people in the street to fuck off because of the actions of a few of them???

That's f***ing racist that is.

Wherever I have lived it has always come down to how old or young people are. The younger the people living about, the more shit the street put up with.

So what you prefer isn't racist but if some white charver said the same about beeping Bengalis, they would be?
If they could justify it in an acceptable way....I want the charvas to fuck off because they keep bringing the police to the road and causing bother. I don’t want them to go because they are white charvas, if they kept themselves to themselves I wouldn’t mind them. Likewise, if the Bengali families kept rucking in the street and selling drugs in front of my house I’d want them to all fuck off too. But I’d want that to be because of stuff I’ve experienced, rather than through a perceived fear of certain people.

Seriously is that it? What on earth have I said there that is racist?

I wouldn't be happy with beeping at night.

One way to overcome your own fears/insecurities about outsiders is to visit their country and spend time there understanding their culture.
However that option is not readily available to all, but education does help.

I think it's more likely to be a world without "race", or certainly a Europe without it, if the EU's master plan is allowed to continue.

Thank Jozy, you're an alright contributor, not my politcal cup of tea but you're alright
Well, thank goodness for that... I was losing sleep over it

You. Bitch.

.. Or is it something that'll never go away?

I'd like to think that this generation are far more open-minded than the 80's generation I grew up with. Saying that, I just heard a kid walk past my house and shout something incredibly racist. (I live in Grangetown, Sunderland btw).
Unfortunately, whenever and wherever there are differences between groups there will be some form of bias shown, whether that be via skin colour hair colour, age, sexuality, education, social class and in lots of other ways. What I see is very young children who attend playgroups take little notice of many differences so boys might dress up in dresses and girls pick up play tools.

But it seems it is the adults around them that influence and form their attitudes. I agree there is much less racism than there used to be ten, twenty, fifty years ago and so on. But, more's the pity, the psychology of in-groups and out-groups is still alive and well. I've experienced sexism in job applications and ageism also from my female line manager in my workplace in the NHS. Can you imagine how I felt when I inquired why a younger colleague who had just returned from maternity leave, got on a particular specialised training course which was highly relevant to me and the comment made to me by my line manager was, 'well we don't know how long you'll still be here?' You could have knocked me down with a feather.

Anyway, I believe the younger generation, through cultural mixing and education, are more accepting of differences nowadays and they provide hope that we will continue to develop equality in attitudes and application in the future.
