Yes. I took my daughter round with me from about that age. She only did about 9 holes with me walking at about 7 then 18 holes from about 11.

Just walking with me at 7. She played a bit but on a course properly from 11ish. She would only play a handful of holes and stopped playing when she was 16 just after buying her adult clubs. Bloody women.

See it plenty of times at the club I play at. See the same farther and son often, although the son is playing. Mate has taken his daughters with him for a walk as well.

Although as Spuff said Cocken Lodge near Rainton would be perfect.

yep seen it happen with a lad and dad few year ago dad used to hack it about kid used to hit tee shots if there was no one behind

fast forward and the kid at 9 has a swing to die for and plays around the country in junior events he’s off 11.3 I reckon he hits it about 200 yards nee bother
