I like the Last Jedi. It's flawed but at least he tried something different. Force Awakens and Rise of Skywalker were just pandering to the base, toy sales.

It absolutely killed the franchise.

I thought it was very cleverly done, but then I'd seen Birdman first and they beat them to the punch. Granted 1917 was on a much bigger scale, but still.
