Foakes was so good there, and forget about his keeping, he looks exactly the type of bat we need, not as expansive, but rotates the strike and occupies the crease.

I actually think we need that type pf player in the top 6, not 7

For me, Buttler never needs to keep ever, he doesn't need it and doesn't even seem bothered about it

Straight fight between Bairstow and Foakes

Our team could be very exciting if we can just nail down a few roles, lots of negatives about the team, but people forget the positives

Has a knack of picking up key wickets though. Chandimal is probably their best bat. Think Root did okay rotating the spinners.

Looks like we might have found our long term offspin test option in leach mind. Very tight bowling.

GERRIN Mo and Athers!!! They both combined to get Dickwella out. Needed that like. Come on boys.

A real transformation considering how bad they were in Bangladesh and India.

Foakes has been the difference between the teams though. We were 103/5 when he came to the wicket. I hope Bairstow doesn't just walk back into the team and take the gloves, we need to move on from that 'pecking order' shite.
 
Excellent stuff.. May be SEB but after being worried about the coverage on TalkSport I have to say they are doing a splendid job.

Still not TMS level mind. ;)
