County Cricket 2023

I plan on getting to a lot more games this year now that my little girl is easier to look after and I don’t feel as guilty about leaving the mrs for hours on end.

First one I’ve earmarked is Notts v Somerset in round two.
Looking forward to it. Won't be darkening Headingley's doors obviously but I do like a trip to Trent Bridge and CLS, just a shame it's a lot more expensive and time consuming than just 20 minutes to the other side of Leeds. Fuck racists spoiling it for everyone

Teams will be able to register 4 overseas but still only play 2, in order to give some flexibility when red and white ball overlap.

I guess the bowling points are still the same. It's too easy to get 3 points.

I would like to see up to 5 bowling points awarded but on the following basis -
1pt for taking 5 wickets
2pts for all 10 (this would also be given if the batting side close their innings 8 or 9 down due to batters retiring hurt).

There would also be 3 bonus points on offer -
Bowl the side out within 50 overs - 3 bonus points
Bowl out within 80 overs 2 pts
Bowl out within 110 overs 1 pt.

So this must be the exciting youngster they where on the verge of signing at the meeting.
A bit like the other Dutchman don't know anything about him and definitely down to the coach.
At least he is a pucka Dutchman.
