New coronavirus cases outside of the Hubei epicenter today total just 79.

Apart from the area it emerged, its on the verge of fading out in the rest of the country which is welcome news.

Not many or possibly any countries with the resources and control to put in place the measures that China have, and they've turned the screw even further in recent days. Fair play to them as it would be a totally different story in the UK if we were to get widespread cases.

Outside of Hubei it is more accurate because logically, case numbers were less to begin spread out throughout the country, with and therefore not a resource strain on hospitals and diagnostic resources. Therefore every case can be given a proper scan and affirmative diagnosis.

Inside of Hubei province the above was a problem and created a lag on case numbers thus forcing them to adopt a more liberal method of clinical diagnosis without necessitating scans.

I was saying the same thing at work yesterday, that said if it goes on much longer things may start to change

So the number of cases in Hunan province holding firm at 1007 for the last few days is accurate? Really?
 
Sometimes individual people's decisions can have drastic consequences.

In the city of Daegu to southern part of South Korea, a 61 year old woman a week ago came down with fever like symptoms. Because she insisted she never traveled abroad, she refused to undergo any form of medical attention, testing or quarantine.

Until of course, it was too late. In the span of that week the same lady attended a megachurch with 1000 other people.

Then before you know it, 15 cases confirmed yesterday, another 30 today (and counting).

Whilst cases have emerged in a wide range of countries now, this is the first area outside of China (excluding that ship) to experience a community outbreak.
 
Because she's mixed with 1000 other people theirs also a possiblity those 1000 people have also mixed with loads of people also.
 
22 more cases just added to that total in the last 8 hours. Things are getting serious here.
