First time I saw De Bruyne play live that is exactly what made him stand out. I find it hard to explain how but he definitely controlled the ball without touching it - at the time I found it amazing.If the ball is moving in the direction you want it too, you don't need to slow play down by taking a touch. You move with the ball. That's how many good players are said to ghost past the opposition. He is much more like Xavi in his style of play. I'm not comparing them ability wise.
