Colback or Henderson

I think they’re some bans in order from looking at the old posts.

Henderson was always miles better than colback and certainly not the most over-rated player at Sunderland 😏
So glad I didn’t comment or like anything on this thread. I nominate @Hull_Mackem as the one who’s blushed the most this morning
I’ll nominate @Bear for that one

I'm not sure any of us thought Jordan would go quite so far as he has.
I remember posting at the time JH could have been put into Barcelona's midfield without standing out and in a good way. I was laughed at. He was fantastic at closing opposition down, being in good positions and passing quickly and accurately.
When he was at Sunderland he couldn't tackle or head the ball which he's developed at Liverpool. They both had potential but one made a really good choice and the other made a really, really bad choice and got what he deserved.

I love hendo but this comment is still ridiculous, he would have been one season into Liverpool's squad; Barca's midfield at the time was Xavi, Iniesta and Busquets which was (in my opinion) the best in the world at the time, and probably goes down as one of the best of all time.

Thats not to say he wasn't a good player, but he 100% was not at that level.

He never said he'd have been the best player in the team, just that he could have played in their team without looking like a weak link. I'll make a ridiculously similar comment. Dan Neil could play in any midfield and not stand out as being significantly poorer than the rest. And he's a third division footballer.
