spurs should be praised for spenign £1bn on infrastructure in avery deprived area of the UK..including upgraded public transport infrastructure.
We have had labour, tory and liberal polsitician over the past decade and none of the fuckers have pumped a billion into areas such as tottenham and strateford that were massively in need of it..it took football to do it.

Except for the billions spent in Stratford and surrounding areas for the Olympics.

No football fans deserve to be in that position.

It’s all well and good doing proper persons tests at the outset of a takeover but surely financial data should be monitored throughout.

Agree to disagree. Questions were never asked. Fans Forums were arranged and instead of actually questioning where the money came from or what the motives of Day were, they were all too keen to lap up the chairman's promises of new a 20,000 capacity stadium and Championship football etc. There have been CCJs, WUPs and when David Conn's damning article in the Guardian questioned Day far too many of them were too happy to dismiss it as claptrap instead of actually trying to do anything at all to save their club from extravagant overspending. What does the Supporters Trust exist for if not to question things like that?

Why would they though? Good points, but it's not the fans responsibility to do so and would have only helped create a negative atmosphere. It's easy to say in hindsight.

Haway man the mags have Mike Ashley ... Who cares about Bury the when you’ve got a club that have won nowt in 60yrs are the hardest done haha in world football

Local MP James Frith has written to the judge to try and have the case postponed giving time for interested parties to arrange some kind of takeover

We raised a few Bob on here for them, buying seats iirc. S when Neville Neville was involved.

So the one and a half billion alone spent on the tube line doesn't count because you can't see it because its underground?
what tube line? ive lived there ten year and the central, and jubilee line have been available all the time. there was something called straford international that has been built-the aim when t was built was for it to be a stop on he eurostar-but that never jhappened...if it had..that would have rought considerable extra benfit to the area.
A lot of moeny has been spent in strateford. o expensive flats around the high street.

Your original point was that "no money had been spent to regenerate Stratford".

It was.
It ran into billions.
It was tied to the Olympics.
It included a £1.5 billion upgrade of the Jubilee line.

That's all I said - there was government money spent on regeneratibg Stratford - that's undeniable.

If you have a problem HOW it was spent take it up with your MP and elected members.
