How tremendous can burger and chips really be?
I kna but it's still just a burger.Get some great burgers man.
Chips are almost always rubbish like.
I kna but it's still just a burger.
The five guys. Just a joke mateWhich bit of that quote was that aimed at?!
If you like Hallumi try their fries - lovely and lots in the portion toobeen meaning to go for a while. i'm sure they sometimes have acoustic nights in there too. its a burger restaurant, not sure why people are surprised to be seeing photographs of massive burgers. fat hippo in newcastle make a great trade from exactly the same thing. or is it just because its in sunderland that people want to criticise it. £20 per head for a proper burger, chips, and a couple of pints, is very reasonable.
it could be 50p and people in sunderland would still say 'eee i wouldn't pay 50p for that'

not the kind of burger id buy, too sloppy. looks decent but too much of a mess. what place is this? i saw someone mention 808 but thats not 808 furniture. the food in 808 is really good.
this is round the corner, on the basement floor of one of the buildings. its a small place, could easy miss it walking past. the type of place that would thrive in a slightly bigger, busier town centre.
That looks better.Logon or register to see this image
Looks interesting this place. Hopefully it's still up and running by the time I'm next in that neck of the woods. It's 808 bar and kitchen, used to be Gilly's pies.....The food is spot on!
Burgers range from £5.95 to £9.95 so suspect you mate is telling porkies unless of course it’s £10 a drink?Lad I know went with his lass, said it came to almost £40 for a couple of burgers and drinks.
If it was alcoholic drinks then Less than 20 quid sounds like good valueLad I know went with his lass, said it came to almost £40 for a couple of burgers and drinks.
Just saying what I was told. Never been in the place myself.Burgers range from £5.95 to £9.95 so suspect you mate is telling porkies unless of course it’s £10 a drink?
