Rickybilly
Striker
He has invested.
We’ve had brilliant players.
We got to a cup final.
We had 10 years in the PL.
He didn’t leave quickly enough but to blame him solely is insane.
Blame Moyes, Grayson and Coleman.
Blame Byrne and Bain and DiFanti.
But don’t just blame the owner. He had the right intentions IMO.
Over 10 years his investment is nothing exceptional - he will recover a significant sum of that back. He is not a benefactor!
1 cup final appearance and successive relegation battles in 10 years is failure.
He didn't leave quick enough because he had an unrealistic value of the club - he has also run it down to junk level.
Blame the man at the top for making successive wrong strategic appointments.
He wanted to make money and gain the Kudos of running a football club. Nothing really wrong in that but the "right intentions"?
I could go on about his lack of communication, his absences, his judgement, his commitment, his deceit, his failure to invest over the last 3 transfer windows which has led to one relegation and possibly two, but I wont.
