"Hi I'm new to the board, my name is Ross and I'm a virgin living at home too.

Where's a good spot to touch myself as this goes past?"
Should guarantee replies and offers of marriage

A thread about best photo locations for the whole country would be good actually

could go for the industrial angle at thornaby!
whatever

There's one shot that appears to be close by from the train between G Ayton and Nunthorpe, not a great angle on the topping though

I'm sure if there were good spots on that line I'd know about them tbh

Gonna text a man that lives down there

what about before it gets to Roseberry? It should be coming through Sleddale beck. Any places round there?

Off top of me head I cannot think of any good spots. Yes, on the north york moors line though

If it's going to grosmont it must be going down there?

Sunrise will be academic ;)

Have a look at the north york moors rail site, see what it's doing there

commondale beck may be alright
Google some of the locations on the NYMR and you'll see a big difference

I've been to one and know of another good one

Esk Valley Line doesn't seem to throw much up apart from the whitby end

Mostly the EC mainline innit, so I'd say not

If you are gonna get into this I'd really recommend Ribblehead, and the NYMR when they have their steam gala

Oh and glenfinnan if you really want a holiday
Been meaning to do ribblehead for a while. Love your shot with the steam train over it.

might try east arncliffe woods for this. It'll be a tight, quiant shot but by my reckoning the train will pass an opening in the woods next to a river about about 8am. Might be a bit dark if I'm stuck in some woods like.

Not to mention hillbillies playing banjos

If you see good weather on Saturdays the Ribblehead train is going over at about 4.30 each week

Seems to be going south all the time though - not the better of the 2 directions for steam!

Denthead viaduct another great locale, but autumn best for that
