Buy him a booster, they are available. If there is a problem find a solution, that's the trouble with society today, people want everything handed to them on a plate.
Didn’t realise my 80 year old Uncle was the trouble with society. The problem is that there is no transmitter within 30 miles of him. He is in a DAB black spot so booster doesn’t help.

Be clearer in your post then, you never mentioned a black spot, only the signal was poor. So which is it, poor signal or no signal?

It’s a poor signal like I said it was. Fact is we have had shared coverage for over 30 years. The Radio station is supposed to cater for all the area it covers not just Tyneside. My Uncle shouldn’t have to be buying a booster because of some crackers decision made upstairs. More people still listen through FM than DAB.

so if he can get it but its poor its not a blackspot, there are solutions to boost the signal for under £15, if your that het up about it fix the problem and stop twisting
I think the point he was trying to make (as well as a few others on here). Is that it's a chew on do be able to do a simple thing like listen to our teams matches on our local radio station. A problem the mags don't appear to have.
Its only a problem if you can't be arsed to work around the issue and improve the situation instead of moaning about something they won't resolve.

It is a black spot. Signal drops out for large chunks of the time. Buying a booster would do fuck all despite what your smug posts say.

Do you actually know what a booster is???
Yes and if you think boosters are always effective in rural areas of poor reception then you’re deluded.

Anyway that’s not the issue the issue is with them choosing not to broadcast our games on FM when they are meant to be impartial.

They have already come out and said they won't, have you tried a booster out of interest?
