1 chance is luck
2 age is based on the date you dropped out of ya mar
3 timing is just luck
4) majority of people work
5) finances is spending you earn

You have to take the rough with the smooth I am regularly in phase 2 and I can’t get tickets for every game but I accept that because the lads and lasses who go every week deserve it more than me

My seven year old son has done two away games those season from his 10+ last year. But we have to deal with it.

I don’t think it will, it’s been nowhere near zero this year.
 
There’s nothing wrong with the current system, I’m on 52 points (53 after Arsenal) and missed out on Oxford & Bournemouth. We don’t do every away game but get a solid 12-15 points each season so there’s already games that we don’t expect tickets for but are always around that 2nd phase for tickets

It’s the way it is and takes a good few seasons to build those points up, it’s a shame people expect instant rewards for limited effort/time/loyalty (however you want to put it)

So everyone’s a winner apart from people who miss out on going to games they always would have while paying extra money for the privilege.

i think the scenario you need is called patience. do you not think you're being incredibly selfish? why did you not take him when we were in the lower leagues?
i presume you will also want to get a ticket on your 30 points whilst doing someone else who has shown a hell of a lot more commitment than you have will miss out.

Because those that go every week should get priority. Same way I’d expect to have priority for a game at Wembley as a Season Ticket holder over someone that for a “myriad of reason” couldn’t get or want a Season Ticket but wants to take his child to Wembley.

At the moment, it’s a case of those with high points get to go to all the games and won’t countenance anyone going to even one game if it means they can’t go to all.

It’s a closed shop with no way of entering unless demand drops, and I don’t believe the fables that it will drop next season. People are assuming we’ll end up being shit again, but I don’t see that and I don’t buy the “just wait and we promise we’ll change it if it doesn’t get better” either.

Yes, you went to Norwich on a Tuesday, that shouldn’t mean you get to go to every single away game and others get to go to none.

The solution is to give a bcp for every home game and women’s game too. Then every bcp you have is one entry into the ballot.

That way someone on 70pts gets 70 entries and is 70 times more likely to get a ticket than someone on one, but it gives everyone a chance.

No they are still likely to get more tickets than most, so still benefit from a loyalty reward in comparison to others. They just don’t have this exclusive right to every game forever. It gives others more of a chance to get to the odd away day.

End of the day those of us with few BCP will want it to change, those with loads of them who can keep their numbers up won’t. One is never going to agree with the other.

No they will still miss games they would not have. They don’t have an exclusive right to go to every game forever, they have never had that. They just went to loads of games and gained loads of points when others didn’t. Everyone had the same chance. Why do you have low points and why do you want it to change now?

New corporate season card holders have to apply the same way as everyone else. The ballot is used for those who were already in the system.

Depends which level of corporate you are, but they are also applying for the protected 10% of tickets, so outwith general sale.

He’s got 2 pts. If we get drawn away if we beat Oxford he might get a third. If not it’s two for the season.

He might get 5 next year at a push and 5 the season after.

That means he’s perpetually between 10 and 15 points forever, which is effectively useless

So would you be happy if 10% of season ticket holders tickets for games against the mags/Man City/liverpool/ Arsenal/ Man Utd were cancelled and opened to a ballot to allow people who for a variety of reasons couldn’t get a season ticket?
