With that process fans who’ve attended 80 away games in the last 3 seasons are forced to pay substantially higher travel and accommodation costs as they’d not know until a few weeks before a game whether or not they have a ticket.

If fans can only afford to go to the mags game put them at the top of the list for a ticket shall we.

I assume you want to see empty away ends at Brighton, Bournemouth etc as people would need to take time off work to travel.

We should all start selecting only one away game a season we can go to then everyone can have a fair chance of going to one game a season. See how many select Bournemouth at 12:30 on a Saturday.

Paper tickets delivered the day before or pick up at ground and you need to login on your SAFC page to show who you are (some would still be able to if seller give them details which would stop strangers) or give the QR out the day or day before the match to try and stop people sending it on and the buyer will be a bit more wary to buy.

So gamble on getting 3000 tickets to people the day before or have 3000 people picking tickets up on the day. Yeah they sound like great ideas

You do realise kids are born every year and they’ll be a steady stream of people in this situation.

At the moment, it’s a case of those with high points get to go to all the games and won’t countenance anyone going to even one game if it means they can’t go to all.

Not to mention those on shift work, those who can’t afford to go to every game, and so on.

It’s a closed shop with no way of entering unless demand drops, and I don’t believe the fables that it will drop next season. People are assuming we’ll end up being shit again, but I don’t see that and I don’t buy the “just wait and we promise we’ll change it if it doesn’t get better” either.

Yes, you went to Norwich on a Tuesday, that shouldn’t mean you get to go to every single away game and others get to go to none.

The solution is to give a bcp for every home game and women’s game too. Then every bcp you have is one entry into the ballot.

That way someone on 70pts gets 70 entries and is 70 times more likely to get a ticket than someone on one, but it gives everyone a chance.

The demand will drop some games will go to zero next season or h season after

Question is are you willing to go to the shit games? Ones no one wants to go to will you be there?

You have to take the rough with the smooth I am regularly in phase 2 and I can’t get tickets for every game but I accept that because the lads and lasses who go every week deserve it more than me

My seven year old son has done two away games those season from his 10+ last year. But we have to deal with it.

Loads of people who are genuine fans were not in that position had that chance due to a myriad of reasons.
