Away tickets - Loyalty points . . .

Before I start I will confirm that I think our loyalty system is SUPERB, fair (apart from the point I’m making later on!!) and rewards loyalty . . .

I feel like I can raise this, having managed to get the tickets we needed for both Oxford and Bournemouth, so it’s not sour grapes. Having a couple of tickets in the high 60’s we are pretty much guaranteed tickets for the rest of the season.

So - what needs changing -

Only one thing, the loyalty points at each phase should be much closer for games where tickets are limited or where there'll be an obvious high demand.

Could RAWA raise this with the club @Becs . . . Is there a reason they have such huge gaps, is it to try and get tickets to different people??

The gaps for Oxford and Bournemouth should have been 70/65/60/55 etc

With the Mags game coming up surely the points should be closer for each phase.

Don’t change the system just before the mags game. I might be in phase 2. What did the points start on at the beginning of the season? They can’t be increased that much more for the full 3000 allocation

That's been considered before so they're well aware of the pros and cons. It would suit some, wouldn't suit others and would probably result in more people, ones who have attended a lot of away games in the past seasons, complaining about lack of access. Whether right or wrong, they've always thought it fair to have a pretty high number of points needed, but ensure that if you're in that bracket you have a chance of getting to some games. Given they're already getting complaints from people in the 10-20 black cat point (and below) bracket who are frustrated they can't get a single away ticket I can't see them making it more "exclusive" at this point tbh

Can`t do right for doing wrong IMO on this, will huff some fans with anyway the club does it. I think the system is good how its done (but I will say that with me being in top phase for every game last two seasons). I personally think the problem is them buying tickets and selling straight on stopping lower pointed people getting tickets (I know for a fact of people that might have done 2 games away all season, but will get tickets and sell on straight away) but how the club stops this is anyone's guess as ID checks would take far too long, especially with all the security checks at the grounds I've noticed this year

Agreed that the current system is very good and fair.

I think the only amendment they could make (and I appreciate this would be a massive faff) would be to potentially have an application period, and then allocate tickets (or the option to buy tickets) on that basis. I.e. they go down the list and say if the 1,300th person applying for Bournemouth was on 63 points, that’s the level for selling out that game.

I feel a bit sorry for people who can’t access a computer at 1200 on days like today, where it was inevitable phase 2 was going to sell out instantly.

As I work from home or the office, the current system works in my favour, so no bitterness here!

The away system does need to change.

The people who farm out the tickets for every game should be punished.

But everything else should stay the same.

If you stop people building points but not going to the game it would help the points get lower and more people could go to games

I agree totally, but how is the big question sadly

Dont want to get into the branch debate as that's a harder one to solve but would it not be possible for someone within the club to buy tickets off these Facebook pages then bring the perpetrators to task.
Maybe if that happens then it might just deter people.
Not always FB though, the ones i know don`t and actually have a regular buyer for them

No problem.Just didn't know how this Facebook tickets thing actually works.
It definitely happens on there but its not solely there, personally I'd be a bit weary of doing it there for scammers, but the ones i know have the same person buying it, things like that just stop others building points up, my son is basically in no mans land with it where he's usually between phase 2 & 3
