Any rentals or anyone looking for a lodger around Durham

I lasted 3 nights back at the parents after leaving the wife before moving in with a pal, so can sympathise.

Hope you get sorted soon! Best of luck!
I would be living in my car if it happened to me.

It wouldn’t be as bad if I could stay near work during the week as I could use the gym showers.

My mate at work reckoned that he would sleep in his car in a staff car park.

not sure if these are any good for you?

My brother lives in one of the top 2.i haven't been to visit. Cos he's a c-nt. Hope this helps the op

We lived at mains court for a year or so before we bought our house they were expensive then not sure if they are private now good location mind

There's a few flats available and they're furnished and reasonable. If you scroll down this link @Parkmaverick there's some other places in the area too

Mentioned on the depression thread back in Aprial that Mrs PM wants to spit up and eldest daughter not helping matters on her return from University. Things have now deteriorated to the extent that I am back in my parents house whi are in their 80's and back in my old room which is not ideal as its a box room and not big enough. So looking for something initally short term within 40 mins walk of the centre of Durham. Not much on right move as aparenlty Amazon have taken a lot of the non student rentals for short term workers to open their site at Bowburn.

Shite that. Hope you get sorted soon. Have you looked at Newton Hall? There’s a track along the river linking it to Durham which is a pleasant walk/ ride.

Is it ok to make light of it yet?

Get in a dinghy up the Wear and a smug TV presenter will take you in.
rather stop with the parents
bang out of order.

lads having a hard time and looking for help. your bad jokes dont help.

Live on Newton Hall - well the house is on Newton Hall so know those routes well. Just trying to get my head round things at the moment. Only three places under £600 and it’s a shorter term as I want to buy as soon as I can. But I’m the meantime stuck in my parents

I looked on Rightmove to see if there was anything in that area. I also wouldn’t be put off making contact with any of the estate agents. It’s a funny time to be living through and some folk may be glad of a short term lease under the current circumstances.

Good luck mate, hope you find something suitable the flats up the top of Durham or quite reasonable small but very affordable. A few of the North road drinkers have them. Be worth popping in spoons getting a bit crack on with folk
