He took his first goal against Wednesday very well. However, he was pretty ordinary against Burnley. Worked hard but hold up play and decision wasn’t great. He needs to be third choice IMO

He was also in exactly the right position to score his second v Wednesday. Could easily have had a third too had he not been hauled down when in on goal

He's definitely not ready to play week in week out mate, come on man. You seem to forget the Cardiff match he got bullied and schooled. He has great potential but can't be relying on him to be our number 1 striker.

Sorry but he didn't play well in the Cardiff game. The ball constantly came back off him. I can't remember him holding the ball up once they were either going through him or beating him to the ball everything. I can't believe one person that has actually played football seriously, would say he played well in that game. It was actually painful to watch at times he was so out of his depth. That chance was laid on a plate with him he got his feet all wrong , wasn't a great save by the keeper at all sorry.

As with any striker you score that 1 on 1 chance and your motm / one of the standout players. Miss it and everyone slates you. Such fine margins.

We didnt do a high press vs cardiff and probablys needed a targetman more than a mobile striker that game. Id focus more on sheff wed / burnley performances as a yardstick for his capability. In a few games he might just hit form and look like a future superstar. He has the ingredients for it to happen. P.s. amad looked crap 1st few games he was with us...

He played well against Sheff Wed and Burnley . He's improved with every game he's played and is hungry to learn. You know he will put 100% effort in and his pressing game so far is top drawer

I'm not slating him for the miss it was for his overall performance, I felt sorry for the kid and totally agree we needed a different sort of striker in that game.
