“He” was banned during the playoffs, for calling a mod out (politely) on the piss poor way he was addressing another poster. Said ridiculous, petty ban lasted three months and ended about a week and a half ago.

Otherwise “he” would have had plenty to say about how our piss poor recruitment failings caught up with us when it mattered

Given the predicament the club have put themselves in we shouldn’t even be considering it.

We might not need to replace him if he stays and we get promoted.

Or we use our scouting network and recruitment team to replace him. The way we should have done this summer but they’ve been incompetent as fuck.

What if Speakman was given assurances from his boss? The buck should always stop with the owners of the club, everyone else just works for them and under the remit and budgets provided.

They can inquest all they like to be fair, unless the accounts show some sizeable funds leaving the club to directors or dubious sources, what are you going to do?

All the ambition stuff is always incredibly vague about exactly what they're expecting.

Exactly.

People are saying we should get rid. But I’ve got zero confidence we would replace him in either this window or next summer.

The fact we are barely 24 hours away from the end of the window having not signed a replacement to compliment Stewart, we are potentially going to lose him too is absolutely ludicrous and any one agreeing with or defending the club are as bad as them.

How do you know? If we got promoted why wouldn’t he stay? If we offered him enough why wouldn’t he stay?

There’s been absolutely nothing other than speculation to say he won’t sign a new deal.
