I hate this type of talk, but there is no situaiton leeds are bigger than us like.

No one expected more trophies but there is no way we should have been fighting relegation.

Rodgers on paper will be looked on as one of our best ever managers, and you can't argue with the positions in the first 2 seasons and the cup win. But what you don't see on paper is the way he has ripped the club apart from the inside and that base that we had has crumbled away. He's very much as damaging as Peter Taylor was in that respect.

I don't know a single fan personally who is optimistic about this season, I think top six would be a success. It took us a decade to get back to the Premier League last time we were relegated from it. It can be a long, hard road back as you're all well aware.

Just want to point out that I'm not looking for sympathy, we've had success most could only dream of But once you're back in the ground and watching mercenaries drag you down it's difficult.

I hear what you are saying, but you had 1 nightmare season and paid the price

everyone in the premier league will go down eventually apart from the giant clubs, dosnt matter how well ran you are, takes 1 bad season

theres no scenario where leicester would going to stay in the top flight for ever
 
The last few pages has been dominated by who is the biggest club in the Championship. Leeds or Sunderland. Iirc we are talking about Leicester City. Can we not find a way to get back to that?

They have national pull. We are regional. They aren't just getting support from Leeds but all towns around even bradford etc. They have massive catchment which shows that actually their support isn't that great. In the eyes of others leeds are bigger than us but gaps closed

Personally I think Leeds will struggle this season. No manager and they are relying on Patrick Bamford for goals.

I m really not a fan of Brendan Rodgers. Looking in from a distance something just didn’t seem right. Vardy coming to an end and throw in a dash of Lee Congerton certainly won’t have helped. The Championship is going to be a hard one to get out of this year. All 3 teams coming down will probably start as favourites. You ll have parachute payments and some decent money from sales. I read somewhere that you’re in massive debt? So how much of that will be reinvested I don’t know. I certainly wouldn’t say you are in the state we were when we dropped.
 
Nowt against leicester really. The Prem has been a better place with them in it. No question. And no patronising "pat on the head". They belong there. Brilliant for them to have acheived what they have recently. Good to see them prove that it can actually be done, and God they enjoyed it. Brilliant.
Now however comes the really difficult part.
They seem to be in a bit of turmoil at the minute. They will be losing some good players and there is a serious lack of direction from above going in to the new season
If they have got this choice of manager right, and the board free up some cash, they should be competing towards the top. If either of those things don't happen, they will struggle.
We all know, the gulf between the top of the Championship and the bottom of the Prem in performance, is not that big, so to succeed they are going to need to be better than last year, and that is a big ask for the players left once their best players have been sold, which seems inevitable from what I read.

Tough year coming up for them.

Leicester are not a big club never have been

In the Midlands area I put Villa, Wolves, WBA, Derby, Forest as bigger clubs. Birmingham maybe too. They have had a decent spell but never been a big club.

Doesn't mean you belong in the prem by simply staying up most seasons.

There are a number of bigger clubs than you outside of the premiership.

So less of an attraction for away fans than 14 other PL teams including Leicester, Brighton and Wolves?

So how else do you belong in the PL apart from being good enough to get there and stay there.
Do you think you don’t deserve to win the title simply by getting the most points?
