Leicester forum - Championship thread

I genuinely believe that if I was fortunate enough to be a Leicester fan, I'd have taken a back seat after the FA cup win. They've lived the dream, won everything realistically and in some ways unrealistically possible in the case of winning the Prem, during the last 25 years. What else can they do?

As with most fanbases they expect to push on and progress, not be relegated within a few years, nomatter how unreasonable or unlikely that seems.

Given how they were playing just a season or so ago its hardly surprising if some are not exactly enamoured by a relegation and the prospect of the Championship - few clubs would be.

Yep we utterly fluked our way through a 38 game season, losing just 3 times in the process.

Really can't understand the animosity from some people.
Nee animosity marra.
Sarcasm and irony maybe, but nobody should feel animosity at the way you did "the impossible" mate.
Was a pleasure to watch, and certainly not a fluke.

Don't take all these posts personally mate.

Don't worry not taking it personally. Just seems so many people are only happy if one of the 'big 6' win a league/cup.

Leicester are not a big club never have been

In the Midlands area I put Villa, Wolves, WBA, Derby, Forest as bigger clubs. Birmingham maybe too. They have had a decent spell but never been a big club.

Doesn't mean you belong in the prem by simply staying up most seasons.

There are a number of bigger clubs than you outside of the premiership.
Leicester are not even a big fish in the Chamionship.

Maybe. But bigger clubs in Championship than Leicester. Boro even.
Well we’re definitely bigger than West Brom so guess you could include us, still what Leicester have achieved in the past 7 years is something boro or Sunderland will never see

Must have started supporting then since 2016 then. They’re also not the biggest fish in this pond, not by a long way, just one of the richest.

The owner doesn't want to bankroll the club anymore since the previous one died. Their better players will be sold so it'll be interesting to see who they bring in.
