Leicester forum - Championship thread

People on here dont understand geography.

Leeds have an enormous catchment area, much bigger than almost every UK club.

They're a gigantic club.
Plymouth have an enormous catchment area. 1 football league club (Exeter) within 100 miles in any direction.

Your point makes zero sense. They should be getting much bigger attendances in that case, it’s an absolute myth. Your an absolute 🤡
Humongous club with a massive catchment area. Last time they were in - and promoted from - the Championship, they averaged 27000. Pi55 on Barca.

West country has never been a footballing hotbed and never will be. They are small clubs in the arse of England out of the way from everyone else.

To suggest we are as big as leeds is absurd.

Leed’s population twice the size of Sunderland yet their average attendance in the championship was 25k,

Their support given the population, being a one club city and history is poor. Actually. It’s piss poor

Their tickets are much more expensive and they don't sell kids tickets for like 50 quid or whatever like we do.

Depends on your criteria. You said catchment area and attendances. That's ludicrous, because our attendances absolutely pi55 on Leeds. Leeds averaged 35k over the last 2 seasons in PL, and 27k the last time they were in the Championship. They've averaged 30k+ 5 times in the last 19 seasons.

We averaged 32k, 30k and 31k in our last 3 seasons in LEAGUE 1, and over 37k last year. We've averaged below 30k once in 19 years.

Difference is I think Leeds could have averaged 60k in the prem the last few seasons. Its impossible to get a ticket for Leeds.
