Mags are more tribal than us. They've got this whole us against the rest, Geordie nation mentality. And will turn a blind eye to anything if it means a chance of success (which they feel they deserve). I don't think they care one jot what others think as long as they are "where they belong".
I think you are correct and I think that is why the Saudi's chose them - they are pretty desperate. If the Saudi's had tried to buy, for example, Arsenal or Everton I think there would have been big protests. However, for me, its the utter silence over this. I get that the media are in bed with them but football fans round the world know exactly what is happening and view them with utter disdain.
Correct. So all this banging on about their owners will have zero impact on them as supporters. They certainly won't give a toss about it going away or not. Looks at them down Palace. Palace fans had that banner which spelt out exactly who they've got at the top. They were just laughing and waving fake notes about.
They will get sick of it because its never going away. It will begin to wear and annoy them.

You may or may not be correct on the protests, although I think you're likely correct. What you wouldn't have seen is thousands on the streets in Saudi head gear and flags celebrating.

It won't mind. Not if they are doing well. And you say they'll get sick of it, and it's not going away, whilst also saying you can't believe nothing is being made of it.

if winning trophies is the yardstick, I’d go for players who are confident and on form
You have to show some loyalty to a core of players, otherwise it's just XI random players who are bang in form playing together for the first time. You do need to stick with certain players in certain positions (see Maguire at the back, because he has an understanding with Stones)

Can you show me any areas of the North East showing any improvements then?

Sunderland city centre receieved any money?
The Durham area getting any investment to make it better?
 They're properly mental man. "Lee, Lee not much news coming oota NUFC today..."

"Fire up the Playstation, son"

Whilst also attracting A-list celebs to games

Almost a year since the takeover and still no investment from the Saudis in Peterlee town centre or the rest of the region
You quite literally asked if there's investment in the region, and the answer is yes. Easier to look yourself before you ask, it's really not difficult.

Here's another one if you wish to care -
