Way back when It all started I said every time there is an “issue” with Saudi they would get pulled into it and asked were they ready for it? Given the mental gymnastics they perform over everything to absolve themselves I don’t think they are.

It won’t end either as NUFC offer a window to the world and if retweeting gets you a 34 yr sentence imagine what real protesting does? Saudi citizens must be shitting themselves in case they put a foot wrong. What a way to live! Yes, middle class Saudis have a very comfortable life but what price freedom? That’s why the Middle East is getting involved in football marra. The oil will run out but the football won’t. Once the PL or ESL or WSL sells its games from its own platform and makes its own shirts ala the NFL the sky’s the limit. Mebbes not too oil limits but itll be better than mining coal or building ships as a family business.
