Atleast me little rant about AJ being a dosser has got this thread nice and active tonight atleast. Good craic all round nonetheless.

Fury shocked him.
Hold on. Fury wasn’t seen in the light he is now. Context
Cracking win like.
I was a fan mate not as much as now but i was and your right with what your saying and your kinda saying the same as me by saying Fury shocked him, very few expected Fury to do that do Wlad and in part thats because Wlad had walked through plenty of fighters that werent all that and disnt know quite how to handle a massive mental and physical challenge that is FuryToronado. Haway man. We’re you a fan back then when wlad was fighting. . Wlad was the top dog, barely looked like getting beat since his meltdowns in 2004.
Manny had him oooozing confidence and style that was so hard to beat. Cracking left hook when he let it go .

100% agree with this mateIt was a dull period but he was top dog. Things started to decline when Steward died the same time he hit the wrong side of 35 - some visible changes in things he was/wasn't doing, but he was still a top top opponent.
Fury beating him was huge tbh.
LiRJJ at Cruiser/Light heavy was the true GOAT of his time imo.
Admitted himself going upto Heavy was the downfall as his body couldn't handle the climb back down to Cruiser/Light heavy
aye. That’s a narrative that I believe boxing fans are guilty of. Fighters for me bring a different passion from proper fans. particularity when you connect with one.Funny how boxing fans have a tendency to forget about the credit somebody would've been due prior to a big win, versus after. The credit always seems to fade. Even Fury v Wilder I - people forget how Fury was considered by many to be absolutely f***ing mental to take that fight soon in to his come back after who he'd fought.
Btw. Didn’t mean ‘fan’ as disrespectful. More the lad was a f***ing good fighter. Can only beat what’s infront if you. And I repeat at the time fury wasn’t seen as the massive mental and physical presence he is now.I was a fan mate not as much as now but i was and your right with what your saying and your kinda saying the same as me by saying Fury shocked him, very few expected Fury to do that do Wlad and in part thats because Wlad had walked through plenty of fighters that werent all that and disnt know quite how to handle a massive mental and physical challenge that is Fury

I dont like him but he's a good fighter like, underatedEubank has been in decent scraps with fighters like Groves and Saunders and never looked like getting sparked. I will be amazed if Benn sparks him.
Johnny Fisher's fanbase look like they don't possess a working brain cell between them.
Usyk KO down from 3.45 to 2.58 on betfair exchange in a week.
100%. I think he sussed AJ out quite easily last time and now he has the whole motivation of giving everyone in Ukraine a boost as well so its going to take the fight of AJs life to stop usyk nailing himHe's looking like a big lad. Be interesting to see how he weighs in, as mid session clips can be deceptive, but definitely looks to have grown in to the heavyweights more

Do you reckon that extra bulk will help him with taking body shots? He's looking like a big lad. Be interesting to see how he weighs in, as mid session clips can be deceptive, but definitely looks to have grown in to the heavyweights more

Aye has to find the right balance. The bloke knows what he's doing to.Yeah, unless it negatively effects his feet and he ends up taking more of them as a result. But he will be conscious of this and will be looking for as close to a balance between more padding and still being light on his feet

Will be interesting to see how Garcia handles training a big man as I was looking at who he's trained and I think Super middle weight is as high as he has gone with notable fighters.Absolutely. He's one of the most in-tune fighters on the planet.
Regarding AJ, I do think Garcia is a good choice for what his best chance is against Usyk. I really rate him as a trainer
